UPT LTSIT Menerima Jasa Analisis Filogenetik Berbasis Ribosomal DNA

Analisis filogenetik berbasis DNA (DNA barcoding) merupakan metode analisis yang paling terpercaya dalam menentukan hubungan evolusi di antara organisme atau gen. Saat ini UPT Laboratorium Terpadu dan Sentra Inovasi Teknologi (UPT LTSIT) Universitas Lampung sudah mampu melakukan analisis tersebut menggunakan alat Real Time PCR (qPCR).

Berikut adalah hasil analisis BLAST dari filogenetik yang di lakukan di UPT LTSIT Unila (published in NCBI):

Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis ini:

  • Sekuen 751 : Evolutionary relationships of taxa 
    The evolutionary history was inferred using the UPGMA method. The optimal tree with the sum of branch length = 0.08968572 is shown. The percentage of replicate trees in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) are shown next to the branches. The tree is drawn to scale, with branch lengths in the same units as those of the evolutionary distances used to infer the phylogenetic tree. The evolutionary distances were computed using the Maximum Composite Likelihood method and are in the units of the number of base substitutions per site. The analysis involved 46 nucleotide sequences. All positions with less than 95% site coverage were eliminated. That is, fewer than 5% alignment gaps, missing data, and ambiguous bases were allowed at any position. There were a total of 1311 positions in the final dataset. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA6. Phylogenetic tree visualized with Treegraph 2.

Dari hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa sekuen 751 merupakan Pediococcus pentosaceus
